Box Honeysuckle - Lonicera nitida - Fast-growing hedge that makes a great boxwood substitute. Sun to shade. USDA Zone 6-9. Deer resistant.
Schmidt Boxwood - Buxus sempervirens 'Schmidt' - Narrow, upright boxwood, great for narrow spaces. Sun to shade. USDA Zone 5-8. Deer resistant.
Hicks Yew - Taxus x media 'Hicksii' - Classic columnar hedge with lovely evergreen needles and red arils. Sun to shade. USDA Zone 5-8.
Green Spire Euonymus - japonicus 'Green Spire' - Tall, narrow hedge that grows quickly and has glossy, dark green foliage. Sun to part shade. USDA Zone 6b-9.
